Absolutely love this shell. The 4-way stretch allows for a full range of movement making it much more comfortable than my other rain shells. It is light weight and worked great on my 12 mile rainy hike. Folds down small to easily stow in my pack. Would 100% recommend to others.

Coalatree has blown all my expectations out of the park! This rain jacket is the best I’ve ever owned. It is extremely lightweight and repels water incredibly well. I love how it is made with recycled materials as well. Their customer service is above and beyond. One of my favorite brands out there for outdoor wear.

Love this rain jacket! I like the longer length but wish the hood was a little larger as some others have mentioned. Love the green color and it has been perfect for Costa Rica's rainy season!

Giving 4 stars bc the sizing is a bit odd. I sized up as I wanted the option to layer. It’s more snug in the hips. I like the length bc it kept my butt dry but it felt disproportionately long. Took a walk in Hurricane Debby and stayed dry for at least 20 minutes…you can see where my pants are soaked but where the jacket covered was dry! And my shirt was dry as well. The waterproof ability far outweighs the sizing issue. My sleeves were the right length, I can see if I sized down they may have been too short so again, the proportions are off I think. I’d order again though!

Wish it were bigger

I love my trailhead pants and shorts and have always found the size charts to be pretty accurate. So with that in mind, I got a size large shell. Love the fabric, seems to be good water resistance, stretchy soft, but it’s not a large. Really wish I’d swapped it out. Sleeves are barely long enough, hood is barely big enough.

I can zip it thanks to the stretch but it’s super snug and rides up on me.

Disappointing for a jacket at this price point. Should have returned it on the spot, so that’s on me, but definitely size up at least one size if not two if you want to be able to layer.
