On my Appalachian trail thruhike, I cut a towel made of this material into four pieces and mailed them ahead to my drop boxes, thinking I would dispose of a quarter towel every few hundred miles. I used the towel to wash myself and dry myself and wipe sweat off and dry my gear before packing. The towel was so functional that I ended up cutting it into eighths. It didn’t wear as quickly as I expected either. I just bought four of these towels and they function the same as I remember. I look forward to using them to dry my wet dogs on rainy campouts.
