Lightweight and Incredibly Comfortable

Having already bought both the Trailhead pants and the Trailhead shorts, I had high expectations for this jacket and, again, Coalatree did not disappoint. This jacket is extremely light for a waterproof technical jacket. It is comfortable to wear, has enough stretch that I don't feel trapped in it, and packs down really small to take up hardly any space in the backpack.

Perfect for my son

Great fit and he's able to move through rain without worry. Packing small is prefect for stuffing into a backpack when not needed.

Very happy so far

I like the style and fit. I got a medium and it's a bit big but sometimes I will want to layer it over other layers. I'm 5 11, 155 lbs I like that iI can wear it in the city too and it doesn't look like I'm hiking. I chose this jacket because of the price and because of the weight. Most of the time a rain jacket just stays in my bag so I'd rather have a lighter one. I've also been very happy with everything else I got from Coalatree. I have not used it in the rain yet so time will tell how well it performs and endures.

Despite the sleeves that are too long---I had to order a men's size to get a good fit. I love the jacket! It would be nice if there were larger sizes in both the women's and men's options!
