I just got back from 8 days and nights in Costa Rica. I didn't want to wear any other shirt! It's really odor resistant, I wore it for 3 days before notice it just smelled dirty. Washed it in the sink, and it dried overnight in the jungle. The pockets on the side are brilliant! I want another one but I really wish they had an and olive or green option... first world problem!

Absolutely luv this shirt, these clothes. So comfortable, versatile, and well made. No weird shapes appearing due to weird cuts of material. Casual, lounging, bikepacking. And it feels youthful and mature. Perfect sizing.

Sized right, it’s perfect

I had to exchange for a larger size, but once I did… I’m tempted to order a few more. Note I’m between sizes in most brands because of my long torso. I plan to wear this for every occasion.

Most Versatile Button Up you Can Own

I am a long time fan of Coalatree products. I own two pairs of the trialhead pants, the first pair coming from their kickstarter. The Switchback shirt has the ability to go on a hike and then out to dinner in the same day. The pockets are functional with minimal bouncing for the contents. As other reviewers have mentioned, these run slightly smaller than expected so if you are a size M get the L, and so on. I own two of these shirts now due to the sizing issue. The Switchback I have is from the kickstarter campaign is a size M-M so this time I went with the size L. It fits great and I could even probably go up a size. I am 6'2 and weigh 172. Nice work Coalatree!!

Gift

The shirt is either a birthday or Christmas gift as both dates are close. So I haven’t worn it yet but I have tried it on and it fit well. Can hardly wait to get chance to wear it.

My go-to travel shirt

I bought my first Switchback shirt for the trail. However, I soon found it was a super shirt to wear in all sorts of venues. I've worn it to work, out and around town - and most recently on an international trip. It was really comfortable in the airport and on the plane. I loved the side pockets where I stowed my passport, boarding pass and glasses. So convenient!
