Trailhead Pants - Black

I love these pants!!! I bought these a bit over five years ago in black, olive, and grey. Since then, they are pretty much the only pants I wear, particularly the black ones. Climbing, hiking, backpacking, traveling, yoga, school, work, at least 5/7 days of the week I have been wearing these pants, with the black ones being worn 3/7 days. They are easily the most comfortable pants I own, the pockets are huge, and I feel like they are quite flattering. At the time I was 18 y/o 5'4'' ~110, now I'm 23 y/o 5'4'' ~120, I got size Small in the Regular fit (I've worn them so much that only the tag on the grey pair hadn't completely faded away, as it's the pair I wear the least), and they still fit amazingly despite the weight change!

In this time, I definitely haven't been treating them great; the knee and shin areas are constantly being scratched by climbing walls/holds or getting caught by bushes on rarely used trails. I probably wash them once to twice a week in the washer in cold water, but most of the time I throw them in the dryer rather than air-drying them out of forgetfulness. And yet, I've only had two issues - one, the back pocket on the black pair started to separate from the main pant at the seems. Easy fix, took less than 10 minutes to sew. Two, the water resistance has all but disappeared on the black pair, but I attribute that to throwing them in the dryer so much and the constant scratching of the fabric, which has caused a little piling. Other than that, no problems; no tears, no crotch rips, no color fading. I came back to Coala Tree to look for some Christmas gifts, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much more recognition they have now, and rightfully so, I can't recommend these pants enough!!

Bought my first pair to wear backpacking. Then took them on my vacation and immediately came home and ordered two more pairs. They are comfortable, look great and they don’t wrinkle. They are going to be my go to pants on my next vacation next month.

Got these pants and spilled food on them the very first day. They didn't stain and I was happy to see that wiping them up was almost good enough- they nearly looked like I hadn't spilled anything at all. I haven't taken them on any adventures yet, but they are very comfortable as I've been wearing them around my house and around town. I bought the regular fit which is very comfortable, but I'll probably get the slim fit in the future as I tend to prefer smaller pants. Sizing was very accurate (I'm pretty short and that was a concern so that was great!) Saving up to buy a few more pairs. :)

These pants are amazing. Tested them out on a hiking/camping trip with my dog and they held up so well. I never once had to pull them up or anything. They did not even stink! Its great pants walking around in too and for dog training. I have been straying away from wearing leggings on hikes and the switch has been amazing! It's fitted but loose enough to be comfortable.

I bought these for backpacking and I'm obsessed! I wore them once on a rainy trip, they dry super quick, very comfortable and don't hold on to any odors. I plan on buying more in different colors. For reference I'm 120lbs and I bought the xs slim, at first they felt a bit tight but they loosened up and were very comfortable I even slept in them the first night of camping.
