This is my “go to” outdoor blanket for all things under the sun and stars. It’s self contained, diverse and easy to pack which makes it so convenient to grab and go, even if it’s just running down to the beach or to the park with the family.
The Kachula is in my pack literally everywhere I go. The rain in Hawaii didn't stand a chance and the snow in the mountains couldn't break through the ripstop nylon, DWR waterproofing. Packability is a huge thing for me and this fits right in that category.
I've used my Kachula up and down the coast of Oregon and Washington, and love its multiple uses—it can be used as a blanket, a poncho, or packed away as a pillow—perfect for any adventure.
I found a good shake would get the dirt off after a day of dragging it around at the crag. This made it great for keeping packs, gear, and dogs out of the mud.
Hey, all you overlanders: this is what you want in the back of your Tacoma. Made from ripstop nylon with a durable water-repellent coating, it’s my first choice when I have to lay down and change a tire in the rain, snow, or mud. The striped earth-tone patterns also look good laid across sandstone in Moab. When packed up, it sits somewhere between the Victory and Mexican blankets in terms of size.
Whether you’re hanging out around a campfire, trying to stay warm in your tent at base camp, or just enjoying a spring evening by the lake, the difference between comfort and hardship can be made or broken by the presence of a good blanket. There are very few blankets that are built with adventure in mind and even fewer that are versatile enough to remain useful in unforeseen or unexpected circumstances. The Kachula Adventure Blanket has got you covered on both fronts.
It’s a super durable blanket. It’s lightweight, waterproof, dirt-resistant, and nylon – so it’s ideal for the outdoors. Extra bonus, it’ll double as a pillow when you pack it into the pouch.

I love it!
This is a really nice blanket to have when hiking or a picnic. I love that you can attach another to make a bigger blanket.
