This is my “go to” outdoor blanket for all things under the sun and stars. It’s self contained, diverse and easy to pack which makes it so convenient to grab and go, even if it’s just running down to the beach or to the park with the family.

The Kachula is in my pack literally everywhere I go. The rain in Hawaii didn't stand a chance and the snow in the mountains couldn't break through the ripstop nylon, DWR waterproofing. Packability is a huge thing for me and this fits right in that category.

I've used my Kachula up and down the coast of Oregon and Washington, and love its multiple uses—it can be used as a blanket, a poncho, or packed away as a pillow—perfect for any adventure.

Beach bums!

The Kachula is very lightweight. I took it along for our trips to the beach this week and it wasn’t bulky or heavy. The sand brushed off easily from the back, but not so well on the front. Otherwise, I love it!

Great but hoody needs tinkering

Great, worked very nicely. Only complaint was that the hood when snapped into place there was not enough overlap of the material and there was consistency a gap between hood and the blanket, so when raining we routinely got water dribbling down our backs which we ended up getting pretty damp, which defeats the purpose I think of that added function. If not for that, it was wonderful.

Awesome, beautiful, and useful blanket.

First of all, I love the colorful tree pattern on this blanket. It's really beautiful in person. And I love the ease of packing up the blanket, and the soft quality of it. It was super useful on a recent road trip to British Columbia, for many picnics and for lining the back of the car to load bikes and gear, ... even changing a few roadside diapers. The only thing is that certain types of dirt and debris tend to stick to it, like pine needles. Even shaking it out vigorously doesn't knock them off very easily. But other than that, it's a great product!
